What caused this bald spot on my hairline?

Yesterday when I was outside, my friend told me I have a bald spot. I checked it out and its red and has little bumps around it. I don't hav any idea where it came from. How can I get it to grow back? Its kinda sore.I was going to cut my hair low so it will blend in.

  1. Man, you sure that isn't ringworm? Iodine will kill it if that's what you have, but will take a few applications and leave temporary stains. Might be best to call a doctor or clinic and get professional advice on this one.
  2. If it not natural hair lose you should consult a doctor to be safe.
  3. Might be Alopecia Areata. You can confirm it by getting a skin biopsy done by a doctor. This will show if there are any abnormal concerntration of T cells around the affected area.
