Assuming both the dog and the bird were in an open environment and would fight to the death. Please explain your answer.

- the eagle because it can fly and the dog can't, for example if the dog wants to get away from the bird it can only run away where the bird will chase but the bird can fly away were the dog cant so the bird flies away and the dog cant chase. bird over dog
- Bald Eagle
- Since your specifically use a dalmatian, I'd bet on the eagle. Dalmatians have had the fight pretty much breed out of them, and back down to an aggressive, talon wielding foe such as an eagle. If the dog was something like a Rhodesian Ridgeback, I'd call it pretty even. Ridgebacks have the temperament, intelligence and large muscular bodies to give the eagle a good fight, if th dog can ground the bird and keep it there. If the eagle stays airborne, using it's normal dive and strike hunting technique, the dog is history after a few passes; two inch, razor sharp talons on a large heavy bird, traveling at high rate of speed = dog hamburger.
- Bald eagle
- Eagle
- The eagle. Dalmations are not a fighting dog, or a hunting dog. I would assume they would attack if they indeed were attacked, but again why is the eagle going after the dog? Surely there are easier prey. Eagles have more weaponry. Those talons are deadly and likewise the beak. BTW where is your cat??
- eagle probably
