bald eagle?

my wife says she is going to give me a bald eagle for my birth day. How do I talk her out of it i hate birds?

1. Hello ...umm how is she going to do this beings it highly illegal !?! You might try telling your wife you hate birds, you're not alone, some fear them as much as others hate spiders & snakes !! Take Care :)
2. Though bald eagles are being moved off of the endangered species list, they don't make very good pets and I seriously doubt that she could find one to purchase in any legitimate manner.
3. Ummm...that would be pretty illegal. I think your wife is pushing your buttons.
4. If she knows you hate birds and is giving you a Bald Eagle,YOU will be responsible for the fine($10,00.00) and it will be YOUR ass sitting in jail for up to five years. If by some chance she pulls this off I would seriously look at your relationship and ask yourself why she would do this to you.
5. ummmmmmmmm, dude...............bald eagles are illegal. Tell your wife that, if she doesnt want either of you to go to jail she will probably revise what she said.
6. Then be prepared to visit her for her birthday in the Federal Penitentary as it is illegal to even have a feather from the Bald Eagle much less a whole bird. . . . I think all and all you are safe and there won't be a Bald Eagle in your near future.
